Edward "Ed" James Christensen Sr.

Edward James Christensen Sr. "Ed" Born in Long Beach, CA on September 5, 1948 and passed away on December 3, 2020 at his home in Cumming, GA.He was the beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Ed graduated from Merced High School and then Merced College with a degree in Business Administration and Management. He played football and baseball in high school. He went on to play minor league baseball for the Houston Astros as a catcher. Ed was a diehard. Alabama football fan. He loved football Saturdays!

He was retired from Joseph Elletto Transfer where he made a huge impact on the business as a national Director of Home Delivery.

He is survived by his wife Donna, daughters Tiffany and Tracy, sons Edward Jr. "Jamie" and Derek. Grandchildren August, Garrett, Gavin, Vincent, Vance, Madison, Vin, and Harper. Sisters Vicky, Patty, Cathy. Brothers Jimmy and Michael and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his sister Susan.

He lived his life for his family, friends, and Alabama football. Roll tide roll!

A celebration of his life is being planned at a date to be determined.
