Emily Wynne Caldwell

God's servant, Emily Wynne Caldwell, departed from us on February 13, 2024, to meet her Creator and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born in Milledgeville, Georgia, on November 8, 1926, to the late Ralph and Mary Wynne. Her devoted husband of sixty-six years, Charles R. Caldwell, Sr., preceded her in death.

Emily is survived by her brother, Norris Wynne, sons Charles Caldwell, Jr., and Larry Caldwell, daughters-in-law Sheila Caldwell and Susan Caldwell, grandchildren Jonathan Caldwell, Steven Caldwell, Christopher Caldwell, Dale Caldwell, Allison Arbuckle, and Kevin Caldwell, along with their spouses Kelly Caldwell, Joanna Caldwell, and Blake Arbuckle, great-grandchildren Aidan Adams, Leah Caldwell, Tyler Caldwell, Bentley Caldwell, John Caldwell, Nova Caldwell, and Elijah Caldwell, and other family members, including Robert and Laura Mashburn.

Honoring Emily’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service, and immediate family members will attend a short graveside ceremony at noon on February 22, 2024, at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, as befits her legacy, she would ask that you simply be Christlike to all today and every day. May God rest her sweet soul, and may she continue to live on within the hearts of the many she touched.
