Emily Maxine Bowen, age 78 of Cumming, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016. She was a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Glennie Brooks. She is survived by her husband, Jim Bowen of Cumming; children, Mike (Ariella) Bowen of Dahlonega, Tracy Chesser of Cumming, Donna Durden of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Clay and Alex Chesser of Cumming, Brandon and Justin Williams of Dahlonega, Nikki (Sean) Wilkerson of Jacksonville, FL, Staci (Brent Burnett) Durden of Jacksonville, FL; great grandchildren, Alana, Emile and Hailey Burnett of Jacksonville, FL. A visitation will be held at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 16th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Sumner Cemetery in Sylvester, GA.
