Eschol "Eugene" Chumbler

Eugene Chumbler, 74, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026. He was a member of Cumming Second Baptist Church. After school, he worked at Tyson’s in Cumming, then Coca Cola Bottling in Atlanta, then back to Tyson’s and retired in 2017.

Eugene loved working outside in his yards and gardening, watching Nascar races, baseball on TV. He loved his family with his whole heart and always took care of them to the best of his ability.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Chumbler, parents, E.C. and Ina Mae Day Chumbler, brother Jimmy Chumbler.

Survivors include his daughter, Sue Chumbler, sister, Betty (Earnest) Nalley, brother, Johnny Chumbler, 2 grandsons, Zane Durham and Jayden Wampler, and many loving relatives.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 25, at 2:00 p.m. at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
