Essie G. Williams

Essie G. Williams, 99, of Cumming passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Essie is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Williams; sons, Roy Sexton, Jr. and Robert Sexton; a grandson, Dennis Sexton; parents, Robert and Essie Landrum; and a sister, Frances Howard.

Survivors include her children, Jack Sexton of Powder Springs, Frances (Gerald) Gazaway of Newnan; Loraine (Billy) Burruss of Gainesville; grandchildren, Andrea Elzey, Chris Burruss, Casey Callaway, Scott Gazaway, Suzanne Pauley, Kim Seccuro, Mark Sexton, Robbie Sexton, CeCee Sexton Cochran; and a number of great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 14, at 12:00 p.m. at Sawnee View Gardens with Rev. Ruel Martin officiating.
