Eugene (Hook) Spraggs of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on April 6, 2026.

Born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 14, 1936, to George & Verona Spraggs. He worked at several printing companies but was retired from Foote & Davies in Doraville after 30 plus years. He thoroughly enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and golfing. He never met a stranger and maintained many friends over the years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; brother, Dan (Vicky) Spraggs of Kannapolis, North Carolina; son, Van; granddaughter, Brandy; sister-in-law, Lucy Spraggs and cousin, Rita Taylor of Virginia also survive.

Hook was a member of Wesley Chapel Methodist in Dahlonega, Georgia. Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 10th, 2026, at 2 PM at Sawnee View Gardens with Rev. Gary Moore and Rev. Howard Payne officiating. The family will be accepting visitors on Friday April 10th at Ingram Funeral Home from noon until the time of the service.
