Frances Lucille Smith Sosebee

Mrs. Frances Lucille Smith "Granny" Sosebee 90 of Cumming took her heavenly flight Monday night October 19, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Sosebee was born in Forsyth county to her parents, Hubert and Pearly Mae Bryant Smith. Mrs. Sosebee was of the Baptist faith and a member of Settingdown Baptist Church for over 65 years. Frances was married to the late Samuel Coley Sosebee for over 57 years. Granny enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilt making, cooking and spending time with her family but above all was her love for her Heavenly Father! Mrs. Sosebee is preceded in death by her beloved husband Samuel Coley Sosebee, parents; Hubert and Pearly Mae Smith, children; Kathy Nichols, Donnie Sosebee and Eddie Sosebee, siblings; Elmer Smith, Calvin Smith, Demis "Shorty" Smith and Edwin "Babe" Smith

Survivors include children and spouses, Clayton and Frances Sosebee of Cumming, Margie Nichols of Dawsonville, David and Peggy Sosebee of Dawsonville, Ronnie and Connie Sosebee of Dawsonville and Jean Parton of Cumming, grandchildren and spouses, Jamie and Tammy Sosebee, Samuel and Cindy Sosebee, Judy and Jeff Winters, Teresa and Chris Conowal, Angela and Kevin Parks, Melinda Nichols, Donna and Tim Pinson, Amanda and Chris Orlando and Shawn Nichols, Kayla and Harley Chester, Johnathan Parton, Candie and Matt Suggs, Brian and Kyra Nichols and Daniel Sosebee, and a number of great grandchildren, sisters; Maerell Garrett, Sandra Young, brother; Earl Smith, several nieces and nephews also survive, as well as a very special niece; Linda Bruce.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Frances Lucille Smith "Granny" Sosebee will be Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Minister's Ruel Martin, Harold Evans and Tim Pinson officiating , Granny will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Sawnee View Memory Gardens in Cumming following the service. The family will meet with friends Wednesday, October 21, 2020, from 3:00 PM until 9:00PM at the funeral home.
