Frances Mogree Curry

Frances Mogree Curry, 88, of Gainesville GA, went home to her Lord Savior August 23, 2017. Known as Granny to most, a kind heart to all, she will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Leroy Curry; parents William H. Alma Skelton Grier; brother Clayton Grier.

Mogree is survived by her daughters Sybil Savage and Freida (Stanley) Pirkle; grandchildren Phillip Delong, Connie (Travis) Cantrell, Robert (Billie Jo) Delong, Timmy (Kelly) Delong, Lacey (Richard) Blackwell; great-grandchildren Andrew Cantrell, Richard Lee Blackwell III, Paul Cantrell, Hadrian Blackwell, Shelby Delong, Spencer Blackwell and Austin Delong; Brothers and Sisters, Erastus Dean Grier, Herbert Grier, Maudine Delong and Joann (Harold) Smith; and many other loved ones survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Mayfield Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Mayfield Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
