Frank James Magnera, 77, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026. Born in Rochester, New York, on March 12, 1949, he was the son of the late James R. Magnera and Mary Magnera.
Frank proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Staff Sergeant from 1967 to 1973 before beginning a career that spanned more than 40 years in the automotive service industry. He grew up working at Magnera’s Service Center, the family business founded by his father, and became its President in 1979, leading the company for the next 30 years. Frank and his wife, Joyce, relocated to Georgia, where he later worked as a Service Concierge with Troncalli Automotive Group until his retirement in 2025.
Frank never met a stranger. He was known for his warm smile, quick wit, and playful sense of humor, making friends wherever he went. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, treasured time with his family, and took great pride in his children and grandchildren. A lifelong dog lover, he also shared a special bond with his beloved Golden Retrievers, Mandie, Charlie, Parker, and and spaniel Sheamus.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, James R. and Mary Magnera, and his sister, Sharon Rivaldo.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Magnera; his sons, Michael (Sherri) Magnera, Timothy Magnera, and Frank A. Magnera; his grandchildren, Ryan, Gabriella, Isabella, and Luca; his sister, Carol Culmone; his brother, James Magnera Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Visitation: Monday, July 20, 4:00–8:00 p.m., at Ingram Funeral Home.
