George David Barnett, Sr

George David Barnett, Sr., age 73, of Cumming, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Cumming. He was preceded in death by his parents, Comer Lee and Ruth Barnett; wife, Jeanette Barnett; son, David Barnett; brother, Gerald Barnett. Survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Chuck Upchurch of Norcross, Nida and Harold Poole of Cumming, Carole and Floyd Arrington of Cullman, AL; stepson, Michael Smith; grandsons, Nicholas and Tyler; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bob Jolly officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 until 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 10:00 am until hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
