George Robert Manna

George Robert Manna, age 81, of Cumming passed away Friday, May 25, 2012. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the VFW, American Legion, Knights of Columbus and the Elks in Massachusetts. George is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Josephine Manna; brothers, Michael Manna, Angelo Manna; sisters, Antionette Bartles, Dorothy Barbato and Theresa Harley. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, F. Ruth Manna of Cumming; children, Diana (Michael) Anderson of Lavonia, GA, David (Monique) Manna , Jodi (Andrew) Carlstrom, Joseph (Beth) Manna all of Massachusetts; sisters, Nicola Wyman, Angela Manna of MA; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph P. and Ruth Manna of Puerto Rico; 19 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and other loving relatives. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with The Father Ignacio Morales officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
