George Talmadge McGinnis

Mr. George Talmadge McGinnis, age 76 of Dawsonville, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010. He was a member of Roswell Second Baptist Church. Mr. McGinnis was a veteran of the Korean War and loved to fish. He is survived by his wife Faye McGinnis of Dawsonville; sons and daughters-in-law, Darryl and Karen McGinnis of Flowery Branch and David and Lisa McGinnis of Dawsonville; sisters, Myra Jo Payne, Becky Sutton and Florence Gravitt; grandchildren, Casey, Cody, Collin and Connor McGinnis, Amanda Iezzi, Andrew McGinnis, Tasha Sowards, Ashley Burdette; great grandchild, Izak Sowards; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carl Jameson officiating. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Wednesday from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
