Georgia Walls

Georgia Walls, 90, of Forsyth County passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023. From a family of 14, Georgia was raised on a farm where she picked a lot of cotton. She married at the age of 17 and spent most of her life as a homemaker. Georgia was a seamstress and avid gardener. She loved her Salem Church family and to fish. Georgia was the perfect Granny and Mother. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Wilbur Walls.

Surviving are her daughters, Kathleen Jones and Jayme Walls; grandsons, Bryan (Engie) Jones and Colley (Kim) Jones; great grandchildren, Skylar, Blu, Chelsea, Paleigh Rae, Ashtyn and Kaimen; sisters, Christine Tacker, Bonnie Byrd, Debra Seale and Judy Pepper; brothers, Virgil Leatherwood, Bill Leatherwood and June Leatherwood.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 11, at 3:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carlton Coker and Rev. Shad Faulkner officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
