Gerald Granvel Ledford

"Jerry" Gerald Granvel Ledford, 63, Cumming, passed away at approximately 7:30 pm, Wednesday, August 13, 2014, from injuries sustained in a farm vehicle accident in rural Dawsonville, Georgia.
Jerry was born June 22, 1951, in Buford, Georgia and was a lifelong resident of the Forsyth/Dawson area. He worked as a small business owner/contractor.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Chris and Candice Ledford Gainesville, Ga; son and daughter-in-law Andy and Jenny Ledford Flowery Branch, Ga; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Drew and Austin Ledford and Grant Sarbon; brother, Ralph Ledford; sisters, Carolyn Burruss and Mary Ann Picklesimer all of Cumming, Ga; close friend Rhonda Mooney; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Voncile Ledford, and brother Charles Ledford.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, August 18, at Liberty Baptist Church, Dawsonville with a memorial viewing starting at 11 a.m.
Friends and family will have visitation and viewing at Byars Funeral Home, Cumming on Sunday, August 17th from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
