Glenn Martin

Glenn Martin, 91, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed away Friday, January 24, 2025. Incredibly genuine and sweet, Glenn never met a stranger. He loved his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Glenn retired in 1977 after 25 years with I.T.E. Circuit Breaker. One of his greatest enjoyments was going to different churches and loafing. Glenn is preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Jean Martin; son, Tim Martin and a number of siblings and other relatives.

Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Durand (Kenny); daughter-in-law, Tracy Martin; brothers, Wayne (Nancy) Martin, Arbin Martin; sister, Betty Lee; grandchildren, Amanda (Drew) Hill, Martin (Hannah) Durand, Andrew (Denice) Durand; great grandchildren, Anslee, Max, Emily, and Skyler Hill as well a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 2, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shad Faulkner officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday the hour prior to the service.
