Glenn Eugene McCall

Glenn Eugene McCall, 85, of Cumming, Ga., passed away August 31, 2023. Mr. McCall was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, to the late Glenn William and Katherine McCall.  He was a graduate of East Liverpool High School and Kent State University. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Mr. McCall was a senior executive with IBM working more than 30 years with the company in Rochester, Minn., Boca Raton, Fla., Atlanta, Tokyo, Japan, before returning to Atlanta until his retirement.

Mr. McCall was an active golfer and avid sports fan who loved watching all sports, especially Ohio State football, the Atlanta Braves, golf, among other events. But most of all, Mr. McCall loved his family and spending time with them. He was happiest when he was cheering on his children and grandchildren at swim meets, football games, school performances or attending family reunions and East Liverpool High School reunions. He loved all animals especially his beloved dog Lucy.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Garnett McCall Howell and Caroline McCall. Mr. McCall is survived by his sons and daughters in-law, Glenn William and Claire (Sanders) McCall, Kent Christian and Trish (Kohler) McCall; grandchildren, Glenn William McCall “Will,” Edwin Robards Sanders McCall “Rob,” McCall, Cody Duncan McCall, Amber Elizabeth McCall; brothers, Keith McCall(Doug), Kirk McCall (Marian), Grant McCall; sisters, Gail McCall Marshall, Karen McCall Lamble; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023, in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Mr. Phil Faulkner officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, September 8, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040. 770-887-2388. www.ingramfuneralhome.com.
