Gloria Schneider

Gloria Schneider passed away July 18^th, 2023 at nearly 101 years old.

Gloria was born November 9^th, 2022, in New York City. She met and married John Schneider there in 1942 and moved to New Jersey. Gloria has one daughter, Susan, and one grandson, David Hilla.

Gloria worked many years as a bookkeeper/accountant in several companies. In her spare time, she was a girl scout leader and did much volunteer work for St. Andrews and St. Philip Catholic Church in Clifton, N.J. She loved gardening and crafts such as pottery and crochet.

In 2005, Gloria moved to Cumming, Georgia, to live with her daughter and son-in-law. She was active in the Forsyth County Senior Center and did a great deal of volunteer work to help the community. This included Forsyth County hospital aide, story time in elementary schools, knitting blankets and caps for needy infants.  She was a member of Saint Columba Episcopal Church in John's Creek.

Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday August 09, 2023 at Saint Columba’s Episcopal Church.
