Grover Light Buice

Grover Light Buice, age 90 of Cumming, GA, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Grover was born on August 11, 1924, in Alpharetta, GA. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy in the South Pacific during World War II, and was a decorated Navy veteran. He is preceded in death by wife, Lanelle Buice, and by his parents, Hicks and Nannie Buice, and eight siblings. Survivors include his children, Kenneth (Margaret) Buice of Loganville, Judith (Richard) Foreman of Beech Island, S.C., Michael (Regina) Buice of Canton, and Stacy (Kirk) Jones of Gainesville, GA, twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Entombment will be at Sawnee View Mausoleum, Cumming, GA.
