Helen Masley

Helen Masley passed away on the night of July 4, 2012 after a long illness. She was born Helen Gresh in Drifton, Pennsylvania on July 21, 1921. After graduating from Freeland High School Helen worked at Freeland Manufacturing shirt factory. Helen used the skills that she learned at the factory to design & make clothing for family members and friends.
Helen was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Peter Masley, her parents, Anna Butchko & Vassily Gresh, and her siblings Michael, Anna, Mary, John, & Jospeh.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Anne Marie Lockwood, two grandsons, Sam & Grant Lockwood, and many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation ceremony on Tuesday, 4-7 pm at Byars funeral home in Cumming, Georgia. Funeral services will be held in Freeland, Pennsylvania at a later date.
