Helen Thorn

Helen Thorn, affectionately known as Mama Helen, went to be with her Jesus on Tuesday, June 5th. She was surrounded by family and friends who loved her dearly. Helen was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved the Lord with every fiber of her being and was a powerful prayer warrior. She will be missed greatly.

Helen is survived by: Daughter- Vickie Curl from Cumming, GA; granddaughter and grandson-in-law- Cecily and Tom Conquest from Canton, GA; 4 sisters- Mary Francis Nelson from Carrollton, GA; Wanda Sue Walling husband (Richard) from Spring, TX; Shelby Jean Maughon husband (Jimmy) from Lawrenceville, GA and Diane Ann Greene from Hayesville, NC; 2 brothers- Harold Dean Ledford wife (Wanda) from Vinita, OK and Harley Ledford wife (Winnie) from Hayesville, NC; Numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews great nieces.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 9th at 4:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 3:00 pm until hour of service.

Interment will follow Sunday, June 10th at 2:00 pm at Laurel Hills Memorial Gardens in Hiawassee, GA.
