Herbert Randolph Cagle (Randolph) age 94 of Cumming, GA passed away quietly at home on Sunday, February 22, 2026. He was preceded in dealt by his wife Annie Grace Cagle. He is also preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Minie Cagle: his sisters, Agnes Smallwood, Lois Jackson, Daisy Shiver and Patsy Chandler: his brothers, Robert Dean, Billy Cagle and Steve Cagle.
Survivors include his sons, Phil Cagle and Doug Cagle (Anita Cagle) daughter, Cheryl Cagle (*Tony Cabrera), Grand Children, Casey Cagle, Nickolas Cabrera, Zachary Cabrera (Meg Cabrera) and Tristan Cabrera. Great Grand Children, Kai Cabrera, Koltyn Paul, and Kynlee Grace
Randolph was a member of Friendship Baptist Church since 1963 and became a deacon in 1969. He was a Sunday School teacher for many years and on the Building Committee for 16 years. He coached the Friendship Little Leage baseball team to the county championship. He was a member of Ducktown Masonic Lodge, #572 for about 53 years and also a past master here. During his time in the Masons, Randolph maintained and managed the Masonic Widows list. He was a Royal Arch Mason and also served as Past High Priest Royal Arch Mason. He was a past president of the Cumming Shrine Club where he was a member for 50 years.
Randolph served in the Georgia National Guard for 12 Years. He retired from Lockheed Aircraft Corp after 30 years working in the Dawsonville and Marietta Plants. He managed the low rent housing project in Cumming for many years. During all his employment he also was a contract house painter part time for thirty-seven years. His final employment was serving on the Forsyth County Board of Equalization for several.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 27, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Byrd and Rev. Bud Sutton officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thurday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
