Horace Gene Bennett

Horace Gene Bennett, age 55, of Dawsonville, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Horace was a gentle giant, a simple content country man with a heart of gold that never met a stranger and loved everyone. Horace is survived by his daughter, Kristy Barnes of Jasper; son, Todd Bennett of Alabama; sisters and brothers, Rachel Patrick of Dawsonville, Angela McClain of Dawsonville, Steve Bennett of Gainesville, Brad Bennett of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Hunter Barnes, Brooke Barnes and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Patrick officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
