Huey Lee Burrell

Huey Lee Burrell, 94, of Gainesville died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Huey was born and raised in Roswell. He was a family man who enjoyed playing the banjo and being outside. Huey always had a garden. He is preceded in death by his wife, Emma Burrell; parents, George and Eliza Burrell and a number of brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Felisa Burrell; sister, JewelClay and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 7, at 2:30 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Little Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
