Imogene Satterfield Watson

Imogene Anna Satterfield Watson, age 89, passed peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on Thursday August 28, 2025.

She was of the Baptist faith and made Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior on July 28, 1947, at the age 10.

A life full of love received and shared. She served in many roles in the church, especially singing in the choir.

Imogene careered in bookkeeping before retiring as office manager for Ricky Noles State Farm. She took pride in a clean home and looking her best. She loved travel, mostly leaf looking and snow searching car rides. Other favorites were cooking, entertaining, shopping reading the local newspaper and not to forget the phone talking.

The most important part of her life was always providing for her family’s needs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lois Wallis: her husband of 60 years, Wayne Satterfield: her second husband of 5 1/2 years, Larry Watson.

She is survived by her daughters, Melanie (Keith) Sapp and Tammy Satterfield: step daughter, Karen Wagoner: step sons, Bobby Watson and Alan (Phyllis) Watson: numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren: sister and brother in law, Peggy (Morris) Gilreath: niece, Dr Holly (Howell) Coleman: great niece and nephew, Caroline and Charles Coleman: sisters in law, Thena Mae Satterfield and Betty Satterfield: several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 4pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Sorrells, Rev. Dennis Bottoms and Rev. Rudy Tribble officiating.

Interment to follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 9am until time of service.
