J. W. Chumbler, age 81 and lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed away, Tuesday, November 13, 2012. He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom M. and Hattie Mae Chumbler; sisters, Imogene Pugh and Hazel White. Survivors include his wife, Betty Chumbler of Cumming; children, R. Chumbler and Lynda Chumbler; step children, Lisa Sanders, Bo Sanders, Jr. Sanders; sister, Kathleen Lummus; Patsy Johnson, grandchild, Evan Chumbler. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 15th at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Purcell officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 10:00 am until hour of the service.
