Jackie Lamar Prichard, 84, of Forsyth County passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Jackie was a true family man who loved everyone, particularly his grandchildren.

Know for being soft spoken, Jackie, in his early years, sang in gospel groups and preached. He enjoyed all-night fishing, honey buns and strawberry milkshakes. Jackie loved the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Dawgs!

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Prichard; children, Michael and Sharon Prichard, Michelle Veal, Steve and Misty Prichard and Christy Prichard; grandchildren, Stephanie Prichard, Tiffany Prichard, Samuel Veal, Holly Miller, Ashley Prichard, Mendy Biggs, Taylor Prichard, Austin Prichard, and McKenzie Osborne; a number of great grandchildren and his sister, Betty Mills.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 22, at 3:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Teems and Rev. Lee Frady officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
