Jackson (J.W.) Lewis, age 77, of Cumming, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Jackson is preceded in death by his daughter; Brenda Anderson; sister, Agnes Baxter; brother, Thomas Lewis. Survivors include his loving wife, Doris Lewis of Cumming, children, Linda (Amos) Womble of Cumming; Jackie Wayne (Theresa) Lewis of Cumming; Debbie (Greg) Brumbelow of Cumming; Charlene (Lamar) Lingerfelt of Cumming; Terry Lewis (Marie Reeves) of Dahlonega; and Tara (Ricky) Cater of Cumming; step children, John R. Martin, Roy Martin both of Cumming, Michael V. Martin of Blackville, SC, Charlene Grimsley of Cumming; 34 grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Peggy) Lewis of Sugar Hill, McArthur Lewis of Cumming, Ronald (Joann) Lewis of Stockbridge and sister Elizabeth (George) Stapler. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from May 16 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
