Jaclyn Grace Alderman, 91, of Cumming passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Jaclyn was born as a 6 lb.,15 oz., 201/2” baby girl and baptized at Bayshore Hospital on Long Island, NY on February 17, 1935 to Clifford James Wolfe and Grace Major Demeney Wolfe. Jaclyn grew up on Long Island and the Jersey Shore. She moved to Philadelphia, PA where she went to Penn State Nursing School and became a Registered Nurse, working at Lord’s Hospital in the Emergency Room.
A loving mother of Scottie, Barry and Jeff, she moved to Georgia in 1976 as a full time mother. She returned to work as a nurse at Roswell Nursing Home and Woodstock Nursing Home after which she retired and became a volunteer of 25 years at North Fulton Hospital.
Jaclyn enjoyed time with her husband, Gene Alderman, at home and their cabin in the North Georgia mountains. She loved having her family together at Thanksgiving and Christmas at both their homes in Roswell and Cumming.
Jaclyn is preceded in the death by her husband, Eugene Alderman, parents, Clifford and Grace Wolfe, parents-in-law, Haley and Margaret Alderman, Scott Alderman, brother, James Wolfe and sister, Vivian Wolfe.
She was a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. She will be missed by all.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 24, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service.
