James Alan (Boe) Childers

James Alan (Boe) Childers, 64, of Cumming passed away Saturday, January 10, 2025. Boe was always a comedian and jokester. He was a very caring person and enjoyed helping his family and others. Boe is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Tompkins and his mother, Sarah Dunn.

Survivors include his wife, Sherrie Childers; children, James Alan Childers, Jr., Jessica (Drew) Glover, Frank Childers, Billiejean Davenport, Mary Elizabeth (Casey) Woods, and 16 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA is in charge of arrangements.
