James Clyde Cooke

James Clyde Cooke, 82, of Cumming passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024. Born April 1, 1942 in Marion, NC to the late Estus and Kathleen Cooke, he was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Butler Cooke and a brother-in-law, Donald Wood.

 Survivors include his wife, Joyce Cooke; children, James Wesley Cooke, John Wayne (Lina) Cooke, Joseph William (Bethany) Cooke, Chad (Mary) Walker, Kristy (Andy) Smith; grandchildren, John Alexander (Maribel) Cooke, Jordan Alicia Cooke , Jessica Abigail Cooke, Thomas Wyatt Cooke, Joshua Owen Cooke, Caroline Grace Cooke, Breahna Walker, Hannah Walker, Wrenn (Austin) Wright, Prett (Shelby) Myers, Maddie (Reed) Johnson, Cora Smith, Dylan Smith, Audrey Smith, Eli Smith, Brooklyn Smith, Gavin Smith; great grandchildren, Michael Cooke, Will Myers, Ellie Myers; sisters, Georgia Wood, Marie (Dennis) Brady; brother, Merle (Martha) Cooke.

 Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 4, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles Blackstock and Brother Wayne Cooke officiating. Interment will follow at Sharon Cemetery.

 The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 am til time of service
