James Donald Bennett

James Donald Bennett, age 79 of Forsyth County, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 20, 2015. Donnie was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Nell Bennett; wife, Charlotte Duran Bennett; brothers, Raymond, Clifton, and Kenneth Bennett; sisters, Frances Mayfield, and Betty Jean Combs. He is survived by his children, Ricky (Pam) Jones of Gainesville, Vicki Jones Mullinax of Cumming, Ronny (Pam) Bennett of Dawsonville, Jeff (Donna) Bennett of Gainesville, Doug (Kelly) Bennett of Cumming; sisters, Martha (Tommy) Wood, Brenda Hendrix, and Beverly Bennett; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nephews, nieces, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 23, 2015, 3:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Sorrells and Rev. Jeff Wilkie officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday, August 22, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and again from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Sunday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
