James E. Shadburn

James E. Shadburn, "AVCM" USN RET., age 92, a native of Forsyth County, passed away Monday, February 11th, 2013. Mr. Shadburn retired from The United States Navy after 30 years of loyal service to his country. He was a member of Beaver Ruin Baptist Church and loved to travel in his RV. Mr. Shadburn is preceded in death by his brother, Brady Egbert Shadburn. Survivors include his wife, Frankie Shadburn of Cumming; brother, Don L. Shadburn; children: Jan E. (Frances) Shadburn of Cottondale, FL, Sandra S. Chapman of Suwanee, Tony (Denise) Roddy of Moyock, NC, Donna (Mark) Moran of Hoschton; 9 grandchildren: Jayson E. Shadburn, Joshua A. Chapman, Katie E. Chapman, Ashley L. Roddy, Sean T. Roddy, Kristen L. Roddy, Kimberly M. Braud, Frank A. Watson, Christina M. Watson; 11 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 16th, at 2:30 PM at the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Henderson officiating.
