James Edward Nichelson

James Edward Nichelson, age 85, of Cumming, GA passed away July 22, 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Pearl Nichelson. He was a hard-working family man, who loved to live life for the moment.

He is survived by his children, Lisa Peeler, Connie Richards, Kimberly Martinez, Randy Nichelson, Lillie Nichelson, brother, Keith Nichelson, grandchildren, Bobby Brooks, Bradley Charles, Jamie Richardson, John Jennings, Julie Jennings, Kory Charles, Jennifer Burgos, Ethan Charles, Angie Nichols, Leah Nichelson, 25 grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, July 26, 2026, in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Treadaway officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
