James Franklin Dennerline

Our beloved Jim Franklin Dennerline, 76 of Roswell, GA, passed away the evening of January 4, 2013. He will be remembered for his outstanding loyalty to his family, his contagious warm laughter and his vast wisdom that was matched only by his sense of humor.

Jim met and married the love of his life Louise Schiltz and raised four wonderful children over nearly 50 years of marriage. The family grew strong to include seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Over the years Jim enjoyed several careers: first in medical sales with Miles Laboratories, then he owned a local small business called Plexeco, and most recently he was a golf ranger at River Pines Golf Course. He greeted everyone with a smile, as golf was one of his passions. You could also bet hed beat you at Jeopardy, be able to remember the most obscure song title and charm you into making him chocolate chip cookies.

His generosity, compassion and zest for life were inspirations to us all. Jim was a distinguished gentleman of the highest order and his entire family cherishes every moment we shared with him.

His life will be honored and celebrated this Thursday, January 10th at Byars Funeral Home, 155 Professional Park Drive, Cumming, GA 30040 starting at 2pm, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, his family asks for donations to the American Cancer Society or the Red Cross.
