James H. Sutton, age 64 of Alpharetta, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009 after a short battle with cancer. He served in the U.S Army where he was a National Defense Service Sharp Shooter. James was a Fulton County Corrections officer and a member of the Fulton County Sheriffs Reserves. He was also a member of the Waffle House 1507 Coffee Club. He was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather.
Mr. Sutton is survived by his wife, Mary E. Sutton; children, Rene Gardner, George (Leavon) Galbreath, Susan I. Brooks, Gail (Jim) Olson, Wayne (Joann) Morgan, Frank Morgan; sisters, Mary Melton and Nell (Ron) Burke. 18 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren. Many sisters and brother-in-laws, nieces and nephew also survive. In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to The American Cancer Society.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
