James Harris Cook

James Harris Cook, age 77, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Northside Hospital Forsyth. James was born on January 14, 1943, to the late Birdell and Odell Harris Cook. He will always be remembered as a caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Sue Cook and his brother, Franklin Cook.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa (Wayne) Lively of Cumming, GA, and Cindy (Mitchel) Sanford of Cumming, GA; son, Jason Cook of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Chris (Kara) Lively, Kyle Lively, and Kadie Sanford all of Cumming, GA; great granddaughter, Leona Lily Lively; and sister, Ann Pearson of Cumming, GA; along with many other loving friends and relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. Cook will be held Friday, January 31, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. L.C. Bennett and Rev. Jason Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 30, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, January 31, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
