James Herman Hughes

James Herman Hughes, age 83, of Alpharetta passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Marie Padgett Hughes of Alpharetta; a son, James "Tony" Hughes of Cumming; 2 grandchildren, Jessie and Lita; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Bobby Hughes of Cumming,Wendall Hughes of Woodstock; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 2, at 2:00 p.m. and the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Sutton and Mr. Jeff Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Longstreet Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday and Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
