James Michael McCarty

James Michael McCarty, age 64, of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Mike was a true renaissance man who lived in the 60's and would do anything for anyone. Never one with a shy bone in his body, he always tried to put a smile on your face. Above all, Mike loved music, his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Deborah McCarty; sons, Shane (Britany), Derrick McCarty, all of Cleveland; grandson, August McCarty; sister, Jerry Queen of Blairsville; several nieces, nephew and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 12, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Albert Kyle and Rev. Edward Callahan. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Cemetery in Danielsville. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
