James Mickey “Mike” Martin, age 82, of Cumming, GA passed away peacefully in his home May 14, 2026, surrounded by family. Mike was known for being the best home painter in town. He was always joking and making others laugh. He loved his family more than life itself.

Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Martin, parents, Iverson Martin & Minta Chadwick, brothers, Tony Martin and Andy Martin, stepfather, J.O. Chadwick.

Survivors include his children, Marty & Melissa Martin, Joel Martin, Julie & Todd Machado, sister Pam Martin, grandchildren, Dustin & Bridget Martin, Jana & Corey Crump, Cheyenne Martin, Ryan, Molly & Ty Machado, great grandchildren, Toccoa, Oliver, Easton, Brentlee & Benjamin.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 18, 2026, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Bottoms & Rev. Jackie Stewart officiating. Inurnment will follow at New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040.
