James Robert Robertson

James Robert Robertson, age 75, of Cumming, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013. He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge and also a Shriner. He was a member of The National Guard. Robert was the owner of Cumming Insurance Agency, Inc. and graduated from John Marshall Law School with a Bachelors Degree. He was preceded in death by his parents, Judge B. B. and Ann Robertson. Survivors include his sisters, Lally Purcell of Cumming and Lola Cook of Cumming; brother, Ernie Robertson of Cumming; nieces, Dina Purcell and Laura Johnson; nephews, Al, Dexter and Dennis Purcell, Steve Cook; great niece, Victoria Rowell and other great nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 6th at 1:00 pm Sawnee View Memorial Gardens with Rev. Johnny Purcell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday from 11:00 am until hour of service.
