James Michael (Shuby) Shoemake

James Michael Shoemake, also known as Michael, Shuby, Daddy, Papa, and Honey, left us way too soon on March 11, 2022. Michael was a great husband, dad, papa, & friend. He will be dearly missed. Michael loved his family, hunting, fishing, camping and going places with his wife. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Myrt Shoemake, brother & sister-in-law, Roy Jr. & Cheryl Shoemake.

He is survived by his wife, Trentha Shoemake, daughter & son-in-law, Michele & Jeremy Kennedy, son & daughter-in-law, Kevin & Kayla Shoemake, the light of his life, two granddaughters, Kingsley & Kaynen Shoemake. Special nephews and nieces: Brian, Brandy, Abby, Anderson, Keith, Elizabeth, and Ben Shoemake. Michael also leaves behind other relatives and numerous friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday March 15, 2022 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Bottoms & Rev. Bud Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
