Janelle Siegel

Margaret Janelle Siegel, 83, of Cumming, GA passed away July 16, 2026. Mrs. Siegel was born in Greenville, SC to the late Preston and Ellen Speed. 

Janelle loved her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, David Siegel; sons and daughters in-law, Michael Siegel and Debbie Siegel, Scott and Sherryl Siegel; grandchildren, Matthew Siegel (Leah), Ryan Siegel (Katie), Lesley Salvatierra, Sydney Geake (Brad); great-grandchildren, Cooper, Graham, Juliette, Bryant; brother, James Speed (Rae), sister in law, Sherry Fages (Sheldon) and several nieces and nephews.

Janelle was a loving and wonderful wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother who always had a smile and was an immediate friend to everyone she met. She was very thoughtful and considerate in every aspect with everyone she met. Janelle was a world traveler to over 50 countries in 6 continents experiencing and loving the different cultures, food and beauty that each offered. Her grandchildren loved her so much that they called her “Sugar” because of her sweetness.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 am Friday, July 24, 2026, at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA with Dr. Michael McCullar officiating.
