Janice Marie Newberry

Janice Marie Newberry, age 75, of Marietta passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015. Janice had a heart of service which included volunteering her time at many charities and WellStar at Cobb; all of this while being a devoted wife, loving mother, caring sister and amazing friend. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her parents, Buel and Lula Sexton and a brother, Emory Sexton. Survivors include her daughter, Trish Longmire of Acworth; grandchildren, Shane (Channa) Longmire, Jennifer Gamel and Niki Longmire; great grandchildren, Evan Cacomanolis, Kodi Gamel, Shyanne Gamel and Trey McGarity; sisters, Nancy Knight of Dawson County, Joyce Wigley and Dianne Carnes, both of Cumming. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Wigley officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
