Jarrell B. Johnson

Jarrell B. Johnson, 78, of Cumming passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023. A native of Forsyth County, Jarrell was a volunteer Fire Fighter at Station #8 for 25 years and a member of Salem Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mathis Johnson; parents, Hoyt and Oria Johnson; brothers, Leon Johnson, Calvin Johnson; and sisters, Betty Webb and Gladys Boling.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Amy Johnson of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Matt Kennedy of Cumming; grandchildren, Tobie and Mimi Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Trey and Dylan Johnson, Cole and Ashley Densmore, Blake Densmore and Marlee Kennedy; great grandchildren, Cameron Johnson and Oliver Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Janice Johnson of Cumming; brother-in-law, Lanis Rail of Clermont; sister-in-law, Debbie and Cecil Martin of Cumming.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 13, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Thompson, Rev. Ruel Martin and Rev. Donnie Nix officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
