Jeanette Henderson, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on August 6th, 2026.

She was born on April 4th, 1944 to the late Lucille Gilbert Green and Willard Green.

Jeanette spent her working years in day care centers doing what she loved, taking care of children where she often sang to the children at nap time. She then worked for Forsyth County Schools as a school bus monitor for special needs children where she would sing to the children on the bus. She retired in 2014. Jeanette loved watching wrestling, Nascar and football. Her favorite driver was Chase Elliott who she called her little boy. She also loved watching game shows especially Family Feud and when she wanted to watch it, she said, let's watch Steve.

In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by Ralph, her husband of 31 years, in 1998 and her sister, Frances Green Worley in 2024.

Jeanette is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Debbie and Tommy Hudgins, of Dawsonville, Amy and Danny Harris, of Cumming; her grandchildren Kayla (Austin) McNeal and Collin Harris; her great granddaughter, Kinleigh McNeal, all of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas Green of Cumming, Ronald and Sheila Green of Cumming, Richard and Tabatha Green of Gainesville and Phil and Brenda Green of Carnesville. Many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

A funeral service for Jeanette will be held on August 10th, 2026 at 11:00 am in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randall Woody and Rev. Don Townley officiating. Burial will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday August 9th, 2026 from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm and on August 10th from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
