Jerry Lee Boomershine

Jerry Lee Boomershine passed away Thurs, December 8, 2022.  He was born July 18, 1941 to Clarence H. and Anna Bernice Boomershine in Richmond, Indiana. He was preceded in death by a younger brother Jan Allen Boomershine. 

Jerry is survived by his wife Doris of 60 years, his son Jerold Gregory Boomershine and two grandsons, Ethan Taylor Boomershine, and Cole Patrick Boomershine of Suwanee, Georgia; sister Donna Catron (Jerry,) nieces and nephews, Christian Adams, Becky Lincoln (Chief), Stacy McCracken, Chris Boomershine and Lara Boomershine all of Richmond, Indiana.

Jerry served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, retired from Dana Corp. after 25 years and worked an additional 10 years for Johnson Controls in Suwanee, GA. He loved his family. He loved baseball and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan.

During his life it seemed Jerry could manage any situation, he could design and build anything, he was a storyteller and he had broad shoulders that carried us all.

No words can express what a beautiful human being Jerry was, or how much he will be missed on this earth. Now, we will carry him with love in our minds and hearts forever.
