Jesse Lee Murphy

Jesse Lee Murphy, age 88, of Cumming, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011. He is retired from business. Jesse is a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army and a loyal member of the American Legion and the VFW. Survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy (Billie) Murphy of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Senator Jack Murphy and wife, Linda of Cumming; grandchildren, Steaven and Gillian Murphy, John M. and Lynn Murphy, Brian M. Murphy, David and Susan Potter, Brian and Brenda Potter, Julie Ellington; several great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 5, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until hour of service at the funeral home. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
