Jessie Lee Milford

Jessie Lee Milford, age 92, passed away surrounded by her family and close friends on November, 29, 2015, at her home in Cumming, GA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Hulet Milford; her adoring son, Rupert Lee Milford. She was a native and lifelong resident of Forsyth County. Jessie was born in the Silver City area of Forsyth County to James "Jim" and Dessie Childers on June 23, 1923. She went to Chestatee School. She was a farmer and homemaker and still had a working cattle farm in Forsyth County at the time of her death. She shared much historical information of the county with all those that asked her. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, friend, mother, grandmother, and wife. Jessie was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving and caring to others. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her son, Myron Milford of Cumming; grandson, Brantley (Allison) Milford of Cumming; 2 great grandchildren, Mallory and Jackson Milford of Cumming; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Gentiva Hospice and numerous family and friends for their love and support in her final days. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Dixon and Rev. Gary Coffey officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 30, 2015, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
