Jill Beutlich Schneider

Jill B. Schneider, age 83, of Cumming passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026, after a long battle with emphysema. Jill was born Oct. 17, 1942, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Fred and Muriel Beutlich. She was a graduate of Luther North High School and Southern Illinois University class of 1966. Jill was a stay at home mom and military wife. She was very involved with Girl Scouts and community. She was an accomplished quilter earning awards for her work and teaching others to love the craft. Jill was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Jill loved life and lived it fully. She treasured her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Paul Schneider. She later found companionship and love again, spending the last 5 years year of her life with Billy Johnson. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Dawn (Mike) Ziegelski; son and daughter-in-law, Jim (Leslie) Schneider; grandchildren, Christopher (Maddy and son, Max), Joshua Schneider, and Catherine, Laura, John Ziegelski, Marie (Andrew) Moller; brother, Jack Beutlich; cousins; nieces; along with many other loving friends and relatives.

Memorial services for Jill Schneider will be held Monday, July 13, at 11 a.m. Living Faith Lutheran Church in Cumming, with Pastor Timothy Droegemueller officiating. Luncheon following. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday, July 12, from 3-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to "Quilts of Valor Foundation", or any other charity of your choice. Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
