Jim Schumann, 77, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026. A native of Newport Beach, CA Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and served in Vietnam. Jim loved playing guitar with his grandsons and enjoyed NASCAR.

Survivors include his wife, Annette Schumann; child, Courtney Romo, son in law, Alex Romo, 2 grandchildren, Mickey and Cameron, and his brother, Robert Schumann of Manhattan Beach, CA.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 29, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Browns Bridge Church with Pastor Brad Smith officiating. On a future date, a private family ceremony, with military honors, will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
